Update 04/23/2021 4:14pm:
The Kern County Sheriff's Office confirmed it's investigating the allegations and video of YouTube personality EDP445 getting confronted for allegedly trying to meet up with a 13-year-old girl.
While civilian sting operations aren't illegal, like the one conducted against EDP445, Bakersfield Police warned against the possible ramifications. Sgt. Robert Pair claimed similar sting operations risk the safety of civilians and could hurt law enforcement's investigation.
The Predator Poachers or CC Unit (Creep Catching), the group that confronted the Youtuber, have posted dozens of videos from around the country. Usually, the group poses as minors on social media in an attempt to catch child sexual predators in the act.
The group plans to continue their sting operations and claimed they've never encountered a scenario where a police investigation was ruined due to their work.
EDP445 has not been arrested or charged.

Update 04/21/2021 12:27pm:
The full video of popular YouTuber EDP445 getting confronted for allegedly trying to meet up with a 13-year-old girl has been released after a teaser clip went viral earlier this week.
The sting operation occurred in Bakersfield, California, when a group called the Predator Poachers approached the 30-year-old with multiple screenshots and messages he exchanged with someone he thought was an underage girl. One of the group membe8rs presented EDP445, whose real name is Bryant Moreland, with a stack of paper containing 84 messages before asking the YouTuber's intentions around the 6:20 mark.
"I was actually coming out here to pick up a cupcake and then go back home," Moreland responded. "There was nothing that was gonna be sexual involved because I'm not like that -- well, obviously the text messages and stuff like that, you know what I mean? Yeah, that was all that was gonna happen."
When pressed further on his reasons for messaging a 13-year-old and then attempting to meet up with her, Moreland claimed he was simply lonely.
"She messaged me and I'm not gonna lie to you man, sometimes a person feels lonely and stuff and they want the interaction, you know what I mean? And that's pretty much what happened," he claimed.
Throughout the rest of the clip, the group questioned Moreland's attraction to underage girls. Around 48 minutes into the clip, Moreland attempted to prevent the group from calling the police by claiming he was going to get help.
"You're not gonna get help. You had plenty of chances to get help," responded one of the Predator Poachers. "You've been exposed for this six different times. Here you are not learning your lesson. This is not okay."
The video ended with Moreland leaving to his vehicle, which was parked at a nearby Rite Aid, as the group stayed on the phone with 911.
