Three 6 Mafia’s run in hip hop has been a storied one, with the collective becoming hip hop legends, as well as winning an Oscar for their musical abilities. During their Oscar award speech in 2006 for their work on the film ‘Hustle & Flow,” the group gave a shout-out to George Clooney, which many felt was super random. Now, DJ Paul has explained why the actor got a mention, saying Clooney inspired him to get new ink on his body.
Paul noted that Clooney’s role in the 1995 movie ‘From Dusk Til Dawn’ pushed him to get new tattoos. DJ Paul said, “Cause he’s my favorite actor & i got my tattoos cause of the character he played on #dusktilldawn, but the kicker was when i had the Oscar luncheon with him & we sat at the same table.
