A UK man who impersonated Conor McGregor to sell drugs has been sentenced to nearly three years.

Mark Nye, 34, was pulled over in Surrey, South East England, on February 11 when police saw him trying to throw out two phones and a bag of drugs. Police said that Nye told them his name was "Conor" when they pulled him over, and upon searching his car, they found Class A drugs and hundreds of business cards with "McGregor Enterprises" printed on them.

Nye pleaded guilty to possession with the intent to supply class A drugs and driving with a disqualified license and without insurance.
