Update 04/28/2021 9:49am:

Seattle rapper Lil Mosey appeared in Lewis County Superior Court on Tuesday (April 27), where he pleaded not guilty to a second-degree rape charge stemming from a January 2020 incident. Court documents show that Lil Mosey is accused, along with co-defendant Francisco Prater, 19, of having sex with a woman "while she was incapable of consent by reason of being physically helpless or mentally incapacitated." The victim claims she consented to having sex with Lil Mosey in a car, but she blacked out shortly after and awoke to Lil Mosey and Prater assaulting her inside of a home they were at.

During his court appearance, Judge James W. Lawler agreed to quash a $50,000 warrant for Echols’ arrest, as a court summons was sent to an address Lil Mosey had not lived at for five years.  Instead, Judge Lawler approved the deputy prosecutor’s request to set bail at $50,000 unsecured, which means Lil Mosey doesn't have to pay the amount unless he breaks his release conditions. Judge Lawler also approved Lil Mosey's lawyer's request to allow the rapper to travel to accommodate his tour schedule, with stops in Canada, Portugal, and throughout the U.S. in 2021 and 2022.

Lil Mosey is scheduled to appear in court for an omnibus hearing on June 17 in preparation for a July 19 trial date. Trial confirmation is scheduled for July 8.

A warrant is out for Lil Mosey's arrest after the rapper was charged with second-degree rape in Washington.

The warrant was issued after Lil Mosey failed to appear for a court hearing on Wednesday. The alleged incident occurred in January after a woman claimed she and a friend were raped by the rapper and another friend after visiting Mosey at a cabin.

One of the alleged victims admitted to having consensual sex with Mosey in a vehicle but claimed blacked out on White Claws and champagne afterward in the cabin. She said a short while later, Lil Mosey got on top of her and started having sex with her before blacking out again and waking up to find another man forcing himself on her.

The alleged victim added that she had pain in her leg muscles from the rapper pushing them up and apart. In an affidavit, she claimed she suffered injuries, including bruising on her arm, neck, and inner knee. She also said she received a message from someone else at the cabin who said the two suspects were talking about "training two girls."

If convicted, Lil Mosey faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
