Recently, it was reported that Deshaun Watson filed a response to 22 lawsuits after his accusers were identified. Following that, ten of the 22 accusers of Watson appeared in court. Now, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has commented on Watson’s situation.
Via his lawyers, Watson denied all of the allegations against him, but Watson did note that he had consensual sex with a few of the women. Because of all the allegations, the NFL reportedly has been conducting an investigation into the matter. While speaking to reporters, Goodell addressed Watson’s situation.
Goodell said, “We're obviously following that and looking at that ourselves. There are important steps that we will be taking as part of our personal conduct policy. When we get to that point we will certainly make a decision.” As of now, the Houston Texans allegedly have been making plans for trading Watson. Stay tuned for more updates.
