Rap-A-Lot artist Honeykomb Brazy was arrested on Monday (May 3) for an outstanding warrant after a shootout between his crew and a rival crew from February was posted on social media.

Ahead of the shooting incident, Honeykomb Brazy had returned to his Alabama hometown for the funeral of his grandparents, who were killed in February and their house was set on fire. Investigators believe his grandparents were killed in retaliation for beef Brazy had with someone. In addition to violating his probation, Honeykomb Brazy is also facing gun and drug charges following his arrest in Dothan.

FOX10 News reports that the DA’s office says the video shows a car pulling up and fired at Brazy’s crew while they were outside of a barbershop in Montgomery. The rapper then allegedly responded by pulling out a gun and firing back.
