Jake Paul immediately took to social media after footage of his scuffle with Floyd Mayweather went viral. Following the physical altercation, due to Paul snatching Mayweather's hat, the Youtuber-turned-boxer appeared with a bruised eye, and his shirt stretched and ripped.

However, he still found the humor in taking Mayweather's hat. In an Instagram Story post, Paul appeared with his wounds and laughed while saying, "Got your f****** hat."

Before the incident took place, Jake Paul made a TikTok post predicting he would snatch Mayweather's hat and tweeted that everything "went as planned" after the fight broke out. He also explained why he took the boxing legend's hat and how he got the black eye.

"I stole his hat because he steals peoples money with boring fights," he wrote. "Honestly have had 3 easy fights as a pro so been itching for some real action 1 of Floyd's 30 bodyguards got a clean shot on me in the eye RESPECT!!"

Jake Paul tweeted that Mayweather is allegedly "sending goons" after him as a result of the public prank.

"Word on the street already is that Floyd is sending goons after me to try and kill me or hurt me," Paul tweeted. "If I die.......I died for the hat."
