Three men were arrested for their role in an armed robbery and shooting that went down in March 2021. The three men are reportedly members of the Rollin 30s crip gang.

Police Chief Dominick Rivetti spoke on the incident, saying the three suspects went into the Il Pastaio restaurant on March 4 and found a patron wearing a Richard Millie watch, reportedly worth $500,000. The man with the watch was held at gunpoint while the men attempted to rob him. The man reportedly struggled with the robbers, and the tussle resulted in two rounds from a gun being fired, which hit a woman in the leg.

The men were identified as 30-year-old Marquise Anthony Gardon, 20-year-old Malik Lamont Powell, and 18-year-old Khai McGhee. Police Chief Rivetti said, “This was a brazen attack midday in the heart of Beverly Hills, endangering the lives of everyone in the area.” Surveillance footage along with eyewitness pinpointed five suspects in total.

As of now, the two other suspects are at large, and a $50,000 reward is being offered for the return of the watch. If convicted, the three suspects face a maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison.
