Update 05/15/2021 4:41pm:

Previously, it was revealed that Joe Budden fired his two co-hosts Rory and Mal, after posting the latest episode of their podcast and quickly deleting it. The podcast reportedly found Budden going off on his former co-hosts before firing Rory from the show. Following that, Budden can be heard daring the two men to sue him. Now, Mal has taken the time to respond to the incident.

Via Instagram, Mal shared a clip of himself speaking on the matter, noting that things got tricky after Budden allegedly didn’t want to show the true numbers to him and Rory from deals being made for the podcast. “We have a profit agreement, a percentage-based contract with each other. Every time we asked for accounting, there was a problem,” said Mal. He continued, “You don’t wanna show us the real numbers from the deal and all this other s**t.” Mal ended up concluding his thought by saying, “If respect ain’t there, I’m not there.”

In the caption of his IG post, Mal said, “The lies are loud. The truth is quiet. Thank you to all of the supporters for your time and energy throughout the years. I appreciate all of you. Love and blessings. 🤲🏾❤️.” Take a look above.

Joe Budden's brewing tension with his podcast co-hosts Rory and Mal came to a head on Wednesday morning when Budden posted and deleted the latest episode of the podcast. It featured him going on a rant against his co-hosts and subsequently firing Rory from the show.

Joe could be heard saying, "We gonna do this since Rory thinks he has so many options here, he somehow feels like he’s still running the show. He still feels like he has choices and options, he feels like he’s entitled to more. Rory, you are in breach of your contract, and from this point forward you are fired and you are not welcome back."

Joe then addresses both Rory and Mal, telling them, "Everything is good over here, you n***** can audit, you n***** can sue, you’re going to lose. You both gotta move now." Listen in full above.
