A CVS employee in Long Island, New York, was arrested after cops reportedly found 62 fake COVID-19 vaccination cards that were taken from the pharmacy.
21-year-old Zachary Honig was arrested after police who were looking for drug offenders saw the man sitting in his car with his engine running. The police noted they searched Honig’s car and found controlled substances as well as numerous vaccination cards that were stolen.
The suspect told the police he took the cards from CVS and that he sold some to students. Along with that, he planned on giving the rest to family and friends. Honig is facing multiple charges that include petit larceny, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a forged instrument, and more. News of this comes after a California man was arrested for allegedly selling fake vaccination cards.
