According to authorities, the incident began around 10 AM when a man tracked down his son's stolen vehicle and tried to detain the people inside. After tracking down the car, the father, 55, confronted the men inside the stolen vehicle which included Lil Reese. During the initial exchange, authorities say another person emerged and opened fire. 

However, Chicago authorities haven't determined a motive for the shooter or whether the person is connected to the father and son. While guns were recovered in the incident, no one is currently in police custody.

Previously, news surfaced noting that rapper Lil Reese along with two other men, were shot during a shootout that went down in a parking garage located in downtown Chicago.

Footage from people who were above the incident in a building arrived, but the footage was blurry, and there wasn’t a clear indicator of who was where in the video. However, footage from the incident surfaced and showed Reese along with another man who was injured, only minutes after the shootout took place. Along with that, paramedics could be seen trying to help out both men who were laid on the ground. Take a look above.

Previously, it was reported that a shootout took place in a parking garage located in downtown Chicago. The shooting went down around 10 AM, and it was revealed that rapper Lil Reese was one of three people that suffered gunshot wounds.

Details in the shooting have surfaced, with police revealing that the 20-year-old man in the incident was shot twice in the knee, while the 27-year-old man suffered multiple body wounds and taken to the Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where they said he was in critical condition.

Lil Reese was grazed in the eye by a bullet and taken to the Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where it was noted that he was in fair condition. As of now, police said no one was taken into custody for the shooting.

According to the Chicago Tribune, “Lil Reese told police that he met the people in the Durango outside of the garage and directed them where to drive so he could buy cannabis from them, the report said. The other people shot gave police little information." Stay tuned for more updates.

According to reports and footage that surfaced, Lil Reese and two others were shot early Saturday morning while in a River North parking garage. Chicago police noted that they responded to a call of shots fired at a parking garage located at 6 West Grand close to 10 AM.  The police report for the incident noted that they found three victims of gunshot wounds, which included rapper Lil Reese.

A crashed Dodge Durango that was stolen was found at the shooting scene and was riddled with bullet holes. Along with Reese being shot, a 20-year-old man and a 27-year-old man were shot. As of now, all three men are in the hospital, but their conditions are unknown. Stay tuned for more updates.
