The producer responsible for "No Vaseline" and the bulk of Ice Cube's classic solo debut is suing the rapper for unpaid royalties.
In a new lawsuit, Sir Jinx claims to have produced up to 28 songs for Ice Cube dating back to AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted. However, the producer recently realized he wasn't getting the correct royalty amount.
According to Sir Jinx, he's tried handling the matter privately but Ice Cube has not paid the money that the producer is seeking. A source close to the former NWA member said Cube has loaned money to Sir Jinx over the years and has not been paid back.
Sir Jinx is seeking more than $100,000 for his work with Ice Cube.
