Meek Mill has been continuing with his fight to help people that have been wronged by the justice system, as the rapper recently lent a helping hand to a man named Eric Riddick. The man reportedly spent 29 years in prison for a murder he says he didn’t commit. Despite his work, Meek Mill took to social media to call out blogs for focusing “goofy s**t” as opposed to serious situations like his work with Riddick on his release.
Riddick’s 1992 first-degree murder conviction was vacated by a Court of Common Pleas judge, and Riddick will plead no-contest to a third-degree murder charge, along with time served.
Meek previously went viral for a tweet about “vibrating panties,” and now the rapper has addressed all those who focused on that instead of the importance of Riddick’s situation. Meek said, “ Yesterday I helped an innocent man gain his freedom back he had life in prison …. on the net I was trending for a pause basically lol them blogs got y’all.” He continued saying, “Go check blogs pages ...don’t post positive post just the goofy s**t… y’all sheep and be serious lol.” Take a look above.
