Update 06/01/2021 10:13am:

Previously, Lil Uzi Vert made waves after he went viral for getting a diamond implanted in his forehead that reportedly cost $24 million. The rapper noted that he paid for the natural diamond that he turned into a piercing of sorts, over the course of a few years. Now, it appears Uzi has taken the diamond out of his forehead for the time being.

The change was reportedly spotted this past weekend, as the rapper was seen with his girlfriend JT of City Girls, up close and personal in one of her Instagram posts. Along with that, the couple was spotted hanging with Future and his lady Dess Dior, where Uzi was diamond-less as well. Check out his new look above.

Update 02/03/2021 12:33pm:

Lil Uzi Vert recently told fans that he had been paying on a rare pink diamond since 2017 with the plans of getting a facial piercing, and photos surfaced on Wednesday showing that he followed through with his plans. It was also revealed that Uzi paid $24 million for the GMI-certified natural diamond.

While many thought the piercing was an implant, Uzi revealed on Instagram that it's a dermal piercing done with a straight bar. He also addressed claims that it's off-center, adding that there is still a lot of swelling around the piercing, and the straight bar allows it to move around.

Lil Uzi Vert revealed to fans earlier this year that he was planning on getting a rare pink diamond implanted in his head after paying on it for years from famed jeweler Elliot Eliante.

Uzi's close friend, who goes by @rockdv on Instagram, shared an up-close photo of Uzi along with the caption, "Folks went crazy 24 million in his forehead dumb ass n***as." Windsor "Slow" Rubin, formerly of the Slowbucks clothing brand, also shared a screenshot of his FaceTime session with Uzi, and he seemingly confirmed that the GIA (Gemological Institute of America)-certified natural diamond cost Uzi $24 million.

Uzi recently opened up about the diamond on Twitter, telling fans that "It’s 10 almost 11 carats." He also explained why he got it implanted, stating, "If I lose the ring yeah U will make fun of me more than putting it in my forehead ha ha jokes on you  ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha... And yes I do have insurance."
