Floyd Mayweather gave Logan Paul props after their fight, saying that he was surprised at the YouTuber in the ring.
Floyd stated, "He’s a great young fighter, tough, strong. He’s better than I thought he was. As far as the big guys, the heavyweights, it’s going to be hard, but he’s a tough, rough competitor. It was good action. Fun. I was surprised by him tonight. Good little work. Good guy. Even though he doesn’t have much experience, he knew how to use his weight and he knew how to tie me up tonight."
No winner was called in the eight-round exhibition bout in Miami, and Showtime reported that Mayweather landed 50 percent of his jabs compared to 10 percent by Paul. Mayweather threw 107 punches and landed 43, while Paul threw 217 but connected on only 28.
