According to reports, two 16-year-olds in Florida have been arrested after allegedly killing a 17-year-old in a drug deal-turned ambush.

The teen cousins have been identified as Jevon Berrien Jr. and Margus Johnson, of Bartow, Florida. Authorities say the teens opened fire on Taigur Taguri when he arrived at Gordon Heights Park with the intent to sell marijuana.

“They planned this grand scheme to get this marijuana dealer to come to them and then they would rob him of his marijuana,” said Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd. “They immediately opened the doors and massacred him. There were multiple, multiple gunshots into Taigur’s 2017 maroon Silverado pickup truck.”

Johnson faces felony charges of first-degree murder, attempted armed robbery, and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Berrien Jr. was also charged with first-degree murder, attempted armed robbery, and conspiracy to commit armed robbery, in addition to misdemeanor drug and gun possession charges.
