Polo G was in the news as the rapper was arrested following his album release party. Since then, his mother and manager—Stacia Mac, noted that bond was posted for Polo G, and that he was awaiting processing. Polo G has since then taken to social media to be very candid about the treatment he received from the police, noting that they were targeting him.

Via Twitter, Polo G said “1 of the officer told us they was on us since we got off our jet…” From there, he continued in another tweet saying “They playin foul in Miami & dat s**t been like that for a minute.” Take a look above.

Polo G, along with his sister, brother, girlfriend, and his security team, were reportedly arrested following the release party for his album ‘Hall of Fame.’ Details were limited, but the rapper’s mugshot surfaced, and it was noted that he was being held on a $19,500 bond. Now, Polo G’s mother—Stacia Mac, noted that Polo G has posted a bond and is currently awaiting processing.

Via Facebook, Stacia Mac confirmed the news saying, “I have tbaby. I bonded out Polo and everyone. I’ve also of course notified my attorney. I’ll be relieved when I have everyone out of jail safely. Thank you guys for your support.”

News of this comes after Mac previously noted that all of the people arrested were still being detained. Mac noted she had “no clue what they are being charged with.” Stay tuned for more details.

Polo G's mugshot has surfaced after being arrested and booked in a Miami jail. The 22-year-old faces 5 charges and is currently being held on a $19,500 bond.

According to reports, Polo G was arrested in Miami and booked into Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on Saturday. The Chicago rapper faces several charges, including battery on a police officer, resisting arrest with violence, and criminal mischief.

Miami authorities tweeted that they are “aware of the incident involving Mr. Taurus Bartlett, also known as Polo G, and another male juvenile. We will provide updates as they become available.”

Polo G’s mother and manager, Stacia Mac, hopped on IG Live during the arrest and said Polo G was pulled over alongside his younger brother after an album release party. In the video, Stacia Mac says Miami police have “made it difficult for her to check on her children.”
