Video footage of yesterday's shooting at Atlanta's Lenox Square Mall has started circulating after it was reported that two teens shot and critically injured a security guard.
Two teens were allegedly trying to break into an Apple store after the mall closed. A bystander filmed the encounter between the two robbers and the security guard from a nearby establishment. The cell phone footage shows the security guard talking to the two 15-year-olds as one keeps a gun pointed at him.
The video doesn't pick up what's said during the conversation, but the security guard begins to back away from the entrance as one of the assailants reaches for the guard's belt. Shortly afterwards, the security guard is shot as the videographer ducks down.
Yesterday's shooting is the third shooting at an Atlanta shopping mall within the last six days. Two teens were arrested within 10 minutes of the shooting. The security guard's condition has been listed as critical but stable.

According to Atlanta's 11Alive, two 15-year-olds have been charged in a shooting at Lenox Square Mall that left a security guard critically injured.
Police arrived to the mall around 8:30 pm after getting calls about shots being fired at the mall. Upon arrival, they found a security guard in his 40s, who had been shot in the torso. Witnesses at the scene provided information about the suspects, which led police to a nearby Westin Buckhead Atlanta hotel, where they found the two teens.
It was revealed that there is a male and female suspect, who have been charged with criminal attempt to commit murder, armed robbery, aggravated assault, tampering with evidence, possession of a firearm by a person under the age of 18 years, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Deputy Chief Timothy Peek said the two teens appear to have been directly connected to the incident, and they believe there may be more suspects involved. Peek stated, "We don't know the involvement of other folks but we have based at this particular point in time, we were able to confirm that those two individuals were significantly involved and those are the two we have in custody."
