"The Race" rapper Tay-K provided fans with an update after going live on his 21st birthday during a call from prison. He was sentenced to 55-years in prison for capital murder in 2019, and during the call, Tay-K told fans that he's "good."

Tay-K also revealed that he's working on new music, and he also added that his case is being appealed and there's a chance he'll be able to be released on bond. He explained, "As soon as I get it, that's looking good too, you know. The coming home situation and sh*t I know a lot of people wanna know about that sh*t. My case is on appeal right now, so that's looking good, you know.

"There's still hope and sh*t, you know, there's definitely still a chance for me to come home on an appeal bond. It's like when you bond out but you don't appeal your case so they got to give you a bond, and I have a bond here so imma bond out on both of those. That's kind of what I want to happen."

Tay-K said that it's "good" that "The Race" has gone platinum, and he stated that he doesn't really want to talk about the song. You can hear more of what he had to say above.
