In this clip, Michael Dowd opened up about being considered one of the dirtiest cops in NYPD history, and he detailed what led him to the police force in the first place. Michael explained that his father, an NYPD firefighter, pushed him to go to college and get a white-collar career. However, after two years in college studying for an accounting degree, Michael felt like it wasn't the path he wanted to take, and he took the entrance exam to be an NYPD officer. He joined the force in 1982, and Michael spoke about integrity training and learning how to "cover your ass" as an officer.
