Hassan Ali, the 22-year-old Toronto rapper known as Top5, is currently wanted by police after being charged for the murder of Hashim Omar Hashi last month. Police are unaware of Top5's whereabouts, and that didn't stop the rapper from going on Instagram Live over the weekend. Staying off of social media is part of the strict restrictions for Top5's March release after he was arrested by Windsor police in the month prior in connection with Hashi’s death.
He didn't show his face, but Top5 told viewers during the IG Live session, "I didn’t cut my bracelet off," and he denied being in western Canada, stating, "I'm not on the W, I don’t know why you guys think I'm on the W." The rapper also denied being in the location where Hashi was murdered, stating, "I haven’t been to 'staff (Fallstaff) in my life — n***as think they can just frame me for anything — anything happens, it’s Top5."
