Travis Scott previously paid a major tribute to the late Pop Smoke via a collection he put together with fashion brand Dior. A shirt in the collection featured the smiling face of the late rapper, and Travis took to Twitter to address the tribute. Scott said, “U CAN’T SAY POP AND FORGET THE SMOKE. NOW U IN ALL THE STORES 4 EVER.” Now, the family of Pop Smoke has addressed Travis Scott, giving praise to the rapper.
Pop’s brother Obasi Jackson spoke on behalf of the family to TMZ and said he thinks the Dior nod to Pop could be the beginning of a great relationship between him and the family.
Obasi said he appreciates the love and support the family is receiving from Travis Scott and Dior. Pop Smoke was very much into Dior before his passing even created a popular song featuring the namesake. Obasi did note say the family wants to get more involved on the creative side of things related to the star from this point on. Take a look above.
