Reports and video footage surfaced showing a white supremacist group in Philadelphia, who attempted to hold a rally this past Saturday night. The group was met with backlash from onlookers passing by, and some of the people in the rally were even arrested.

The masked men in the video are reportedly a part of the Patriot Front, a group with alleged ties to the vandalism of various George Floyd memorials across the United States, as well as the memorial that was placed in Olney an area of Philadelphia.

Officer Michael Cram spoke on the rally and incidents that followed, saying, “They started engaging with citizens of Philadelphia, who were none too happy about what they were saying. These males felt threatened, and at one point somebody threw a smoke bomb to cover their retreat, and they literally ran away from the people of Philadelphia."

The incident reportedly hit a head at Penn’s Landing, where onlookers close to the group started yelling at them and banging on the trucks belonging to the group before they sped off. Police revealed they stopped the entire group of people after pulling the trucks over for “safety reasons.” Take a look above.
