According to reports, a Central Florida man fatally shot himself after wounding his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend.
Kevin Cooper, 41, of Lake Wales, Florida, was accused of harassing his ex-girlfriend with a bombardment of phone calls after she ended their relationship and moved onto another man.
On Saturday, Cooper went to a local bar where he knew his ex-girlfriend would be that night and opened fire, grazing her. He then shot at her new boyfriend, who was sitting at the bar, hitting him twice. Cooper then turned the gun on himself.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. The ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend was treated for two gunshot wounds he sustained but was in stable condition. Cooper previously had been arrested for domestic violence, kidnapping, stalking, and aggravated assault, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office said.
