Wiz Khalifa took to Twitter to reveal that he's contracted COVID-19. He wrote on Wednesday (July 14), "Okay loved ones….sooo…..Ya boy got covid. No symptoms. Just stay away from me for a lil while." Wiz added, "While im in the house I’ll be givin y’all new content, planning raves, and readying this new project."
This comes after it was revealed that Wiz has been cast as Parliament-Funkadelic frontman George Clinton in Spinning Gold, a new movie about Casablanca Records chief Neil Bogart. Also in the film are Tayla Parx, who will play "Queen of Disco" Donna Summer, Ledisi will play Gladys Knight, and Jason Derulo will play Ronald Isley. Production on the movie is currently underway.
