Producer 808Melo took to Twitter amid criticism over Pop Smoke's new album, Faith, which dropped on Friday (July 16). The album was executive produced by 50 Cent and included a long list of features, including Future, DaBaby, Lil Baby, Quavo, Swae Lee, Roddy Ricch, Kanye, Dua Lipa, Pusha-T, 42 Dugg, 21 Savage, Pharrell, and Kodak Black.
Some people were getting at 808Melo, who produced most of the songs on Pop Smoke's sophomore mixtape, Meet the Woo 2, and he helped produce Pop Smoke's posthumous album Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon. However, 808Melo told his followers, "Don’t complain to me about the album I had no involvement in it & you guys know that!"
Swirv, another producer who worked with Pop Smoke, backed up 808Melo by responding, "Facts" to his tweet. You can read the tweets in full above.
