Update 07/26/2021 3:47pm:

DaBaby has responded to the backlash he received for a rant that many viewers deemed homophobic. During his Rolling Loud performance, the Charlotte rapper initiated a call and response with his fans that found the rapper singling out people living with HIV/AIDS and men performing oral sex in public.

He addressed the backlash in his Instagram Story and claimed his words were being "twisted up." DaBaby acknowledged his gay fans and said his words were not meant to be homophobic, but to highlight that "even my gay fans got standards."

"All my fans at the show, the gay ones and the straight ones, we turned the f*** up," he said. "My boy had a crop-top on, front row...Shut the f*** up, you n***** that ain't at the show."

DaBaby also said viewers who weren't at the festival missed the context of his remarks.

"I'ma address this weak-a** internet s*** one time and then I'ma get back to giving my love to my fans," DaBaby said. "What me and my fans do at the live show, it don't concern you n***** on the internet, or you bitter b****** on the internet. It's not your business...What I do at a live show is for the audience at the live show, it'll never translate correctly to someone looking a little five-six second clip from they god**** crib on they phone. It just don't work like that."

DaBaby is catching heat following comments he made during his Rolling Loud set, which many people are calling homophobic.

After a shoe was thrown at the "Suge" rapper, DaBaby told the crowd, "If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases, that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up." He added, "Ladies, if your p*ssy smell like water, put your cellphone lighter up. Fellas, if you ain’t sucking d*ck in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up."

DaBaby jumped on stage at the Miami festival after Megan Thee Stallion, and he brought out special guest Tory Lanez, who is accused of shooting Megan last year. DaBaby and Megan haven't been on good terms since DaBaby teamed up with Tory for the "SKAT" video last month. Following the release of the video, Megan unfollowed DaBaby on Instagram after they had previously collaborated on several songs, including "Cash Sh*t," "Nasty," and "Cry Baby."
