Previously, the head of Instagram—Adam Mosseri, sat down with The Breakfast Club and spoke about different parts of the social media platform. Mosseri was asked about Boosie’s Instagram account and noted it got shut down because “the line had to be drawn somewhere.” Boosie responded by saying the account was taken down because of racism. Now, Mosseri has been asked about Boosie’s account again, this time while answering questions on IG, which prompted Boosie to fire off another response to the IG CEO.
The CEO was asked, “Why you won’t give Boosie another chance with his main account?” Mosseri responded by saying, “The only content we try and take off of Instagram is when there is safety concerns.” He noted that you don’t lose your account until you have a lot of strikes, doubling down by saying Boosie got a lot of strikes, so they had no choice but to draw the line.
From there, Boosie hopped in the comments, saying “THEY DON’T WANT TO SEE OUR PEOPLE SMILING 🤷🏾♂️.” He continued by adding, “RACIST.” Take a look above.
