According to reports, the associate warden of the federal jail in Brooklyn that made headlines for housing Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell is accused of fatally shooting her husband in their New Jersey home.
Antonia Ashford, 44, associate warden of the Metropolitan Detention Center, was arrested and charged with murder for allegedly shooting her husband in the face.
Authorities arrived at the couple's home around 2:15 AM Monday after receiving a call that a man had been shot. They found 47-year-old Roderick Ashford wounded on the floor. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
In addition to murder charges, Antonia was also charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
