In this clip, DJ Yella recounted the initial reaction to the release of NWA's debut album, Straight Outta Compton. He described how the album and the music was ahead of its time, prompting a reporter to dub the sub-genre, "gangsta rap."
Later, DJ Yella recalls an incident that occurred backstage in Seattle where a random man got into the dressing room and dropped one of the members of NWA. While Yella wouldn't disclose who it was, he assured Vlad that he was the one that caught the punch.
