According to reports, a 33-year-old man was brutally beaten in Yonkers, leading to the arrest of over a dozen people in connection.
Those arrested are believed to be members of the 300 Bloodhound Brims street gang. Of those charged, the ages range from as old as 21 and young as 17. Authorities say the victim sustained life-threatening injuries and suffered bleeding on the brain, broken and missing teeth, and abrasions to his face, back, and arms.
Police say the man was only going to a local bodega to grab a soda before the attack. The victim was followed inside the store by three other men whom he got into a heated argument that turned physical.
While five people were immediately apprehended and taken into police custody, the nine others involved were just recently taken in. A list of the defendants include:
