Following a Webbie concert in Lafayette, LA, a shooting left one person dead, and another sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say two different groups had a dispute, yet the full details about what sparked the shooting remain unclear. At least 20 cars were struck in the crossfire. However, "There were several parties shooting at each other across the parking lot," said spokesperson Trooper Thomas Gossen. "There was an active shooting going on before the officer basically engaged them. The whole parking lot is a crime scene."
The investigation is ongoing as police ask for continued patience as they gather information.
