Eminem's adopted daughter, whose birth name is Whitney, has come out as non-binary in a TikTok video last week, adding that they would now like to be called Stevie. They added in their TikTok bio that they're happy to be referred to under "any" pronoun.
The 19-year-old is the biological daughter of Eminem's ex-wife Kim Scott and Eric Hartter, who reportedly passed away in 2019. Eminem reportedly adopted Stevie in 2005 before divorcing Kim Scott for a second time a year later. He made a rare mention of all three of his daughters on the track "Going Through Changes," where he rapped, "Hailey this one is for you, Whitney and Alaina too / I still love your mother, that’ll never change / Think about her every day, we just could never get it together hey."
Alaina, 28, is the daughter of Kim's late twin sister, Dawn. Em and Kim also share a biological daughter, Hailie, 25.
Stevie has shared other glimpses into their life on her TikTok page, including being embarrassed about her choir teacher making them lip-sync their father's hit song "Rap God" for a school performance. They also claimed in another video that they was never told about their biological father until someone sent them an article about his death. Stevie said that their grandmother told them, "I'm sorry they wouldn't tell you about him."
Eminem has yet to comment publicly about Stevie coming out.
