The death of Pop Smoke was a tragic one, and many people like 50 Cent made sure the late rapper’s legacy was going to be held up, as he was on the rise before his passing. Recently, a second posthumous album titled ‘Faith’ dropped from the rapper with many guest appearances from Future, Pharrell, Kid Cudi, Quavo, Takeoff, Pusha T, and more. Now, Pop’s best friend Mike Dee has revealed that the rapper’s vault of music may almost be out.
Mike Dee recently had an interview with Kalisha Perera, where he addressed the release of ‘Faith,’ giving his thoughts on how he would do things differently.
Mike Dee spoke about the 30 songs released in the form of a deluxe edition of the album. He said, “I feel like, instead of dropping all thirty songs, I would have waited until now, till next year, that way his name will stay alive instead of just dropping it all at one time.” The host asked Mike Dee if ‘Faith’ featured what was left from Pop Smoke’s catalog, which prompted Mike Dee to say, “I’m guessing this is what he had left in the vault. Yeah.” Take a look above.
