The 911 call made by Jerry Antoine, the Atlanta rapper known as Germ, after his girlfriend Miriam Abdulrab was kidnapped in the yard of his Burroughs Street home in southeast Atlanta was recently released. On Friday (August 13), Miriam had texted Antoine to let him know that she was close to his house, but she never made it inside.

Antoine called 911 and told them, "My girlfriend just got out of a car and somebody just came and kidnapped her and left. I just watched her get kidnapped from in front of my house!"  Antoine added that he watched the incident unfold from a window as a man wearing a security shirt held a gun at Abdulrab. The incident happened around 5 am, and a few hours later, Abdulrab's body was found lying face down with gunshot wounds on Lakewood Avenue.

DeMarcus Brinkley, 27, was arrested the same morning in Griffin as a suspect in Abdulrab's murder. He was apprehended after crashing into another vehicle when officers attempted to stop his SUV. He was charged with murder, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

A mural was made in honor of Miram in Atlanta, which Germ reposted on his page along with the caption, "I CNT BELIEVE THIS SH*T . I LOVE YOU MERMZ . I ALWAYS TOLD YO LIL ASS YOU WERE LEGENDARY . IDK ANYBODY THT LOVED HARDER THAN YOU , YOU TAUGHT ME REAL LIFE LESSONS . #MARIAMFOREVER."
