Previously, R. Kelly and his team pushed to have herpes-related charges dropped from his federal case. However, that may be the least of Kelly’s worries, as former girlfriend Azriel Clary is set to testify against him, despite threats she’s been receiving.
Clary’s father spoke to TMZ and said no one is forcing Azriel to testify, noting it was her decision based on the crimes Kelly committed against her and others, which she feels is wrong. Despite Clary wanting to “show what a monster he truly is,” this reportedly didn’t sit well with fans of Kelly, who have been threatening her and her family online. Along with that, Clary and her family members have been allegedly harassed at work.
This isn’t the first run-in with threats and attacks, as Azriel Clary’s car was reportedly set on fire last year. Clary is reportedly set to testify in court next week. Stay tuned for more updates.
