According to TMZ, Sonya and Dell Curry are splitting up and they both are citing the other's infidelity as the reason. When reports of the Currys' divorce initially hit the news cycle, it was unknown why the split occurred but court documents show that Sonya is accusing her estranged husband of cheating on her with multiple women. However, Dell is telling a very different story claiming that Sonya was engaged in "acts of illicit sexual misconduct" before their separation.
Dell also noted in his filing that Sonya is currently living with another man which should prevent her from collecting alimony. In response, Sonya admitted to seeing another man but noted that their relationship hadn't started until months after she and Dell agreed to legally separate.
In Sonya's filing, she claims Dell's infidelities were an "open secret" within the family. Yet she decided not to disclose the details of his escapades "in one final act of trying to protect [Dell] and family from possible public exposure and scrutiny." but said she "was left with no choice" but to expose him after Dell's accusations.

The parents of NBA guards Seth and Steph Curry are divorcing after over 30 years of marriage.
Sonya Curry filed for divorce from former NBA player Dell Curry in June 2021 although the news was recently revealed. An exact reason for the divorce is currently unknown but the split is still ongoing.
Steph Curry's parents are going their separate ways ... TMZ Sports has learned Sonya Curry has filed for divorce from Dell Curry.
Dell, 57, married Sonya, 55, in 1988. The couple had NBA superstar Steph Curry that same year before Philadelphia 76ers guard Seth Curry was born two years later. In 1994, the couple had their daughter, Sydel.
The Curry family is yet to comment on the divorce. Stay tuned as more details become available.
