Comedian Fuquan Johnson and two others passed away, while the ex-girlfriend of Hootie & the Blowfish's lead singer has been hospitalized due to fentanyl-laced cocaine.
Johnson, who was a writer for "Comedy Parlour Live," was among three people who were found dead at a home in Venice Friday night, according to multiple reports. Comedian Kate Quigley, who formerly dated Hootie & the Blowfish singer Darius Rucker, was hospitalized and has been listed in critical condition.
Autopsies have been planned for the three deceased individuals in order to confirm the cause of death although the fentanyl-laced cocaine was reportedly ingested by all four. The LAPD's homicide unit has not determined if they'll be investigating the incident.
Fuquan Johnson was 42 years old at the time of his passing.
