Paul Pierce recently opened up about being fired from ESPN after he hopped on IG Live with strippers surrounding him while he gambled.

While speaking to Sports Illustrated ahead of his NBA Hall of Fame induction, Pierce revealed that his partnership with ESPN "wasn't a great fit." Pierce stated that the amount of traveling, combined with executives being demanding and having to talk about his former rival LeBron James was enough for him to be "done" with working for ESPN.

He explained, "There’s a lot of stuff over there that you can’t say. And you have to talk about LeBron all the time." When it comes to the IG Live video, Pierce added, "Come on, I didn’t do anything illegal. These motherf*ckers in the Hall of Fame, some did [cocaine], f**king battery. What the f**k did I do? I was just having a good time. All the people coming after me, half you motherf**kers do the same sh*t. You’re just hiding it. And you all are married while you’re doing it. I’m divorced. I’m retired. I’m having fun."
