Don Dirk sat down with VladTV to detail his time as a co-founder of the Black Disciples. The Chicago native explained that the gang originated from the Devil Disciples, which he joined as a seven-year-old. Dirk also cleared up the origins of David Barksdale and Larry Hoover before describing the relationship between the Black Disciples and the Black Stones. Don Dirk also talked about his legal troubles and claimed the government was trying to strip the gang of its leadership by having members turn on each other. After getting out of prison and trying to maintain peace, Dirk acknowledged the negative impact that the crack era had on Chicago's gangs and the city as a whole.
