In the first clip of La Chat's sit-down with VladTV, she described growing up in Memphis before revealing her father passed away from cancer when she was 11 years old. While she admitted to being raised well by her mother and stepfather, she added that her oldest brother was murdered in the same year as her father's death. She recalled her brother's killers getting off with manslaughter after her brother's reputation was bashed during the trial. La Chat said her brother's death caused her mother to have a nervous breakdown and retire as a correctional officer.
