Russell Westbrook recently went viral after he sported a white skirt and creme cardigan during Fashion Week. This comes following the announcement of Westbrook joining the Los Angeles Lakers, with the player appearing at his first presser. Many have commented on Westbrook’s fashion choice, and now Kwame Brown has fired off some choice words at Westbrook for his look.
Brown went on to troll Westbrook and called out the new Laker for his skirt. Brown went on to say, “This ain’t his first time,” and continued saying, “This n***a been wearing dresses and weird a** s**t.” Brown went on to say that Westbrook doesn’t get his respect and went on to say nobody he came up with would ever get his respect for walking around in a dress as a heterosexual male. The player made a move from the Washington Wizards to the Lakers as part of a trade for Montrezl Harrell, Kyle Kuzma, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Since then, Westbrook has been making waves in Los Angeles as he gave his first presser as a new member of the Lakers. Now, Westbrook is back in the light for a unique style he sported this weekend.
Westbrook took to social media to post pictures of his new fit, which featured an all-white skirt along with a creme-colored cardigan. In the caption of his post, Westbrook said, “Don’t address me unless it’s four letters @kendricklamar.” Westbrook wasn’t the only one who rocked a skirt this weekend, as Kid Cudi recently made an appearance during New York Fashion Week in a black skirt.
