Dennis Schroder made headlines this offseason after it was revealed that the German-born point guard passed on an $84 million contract extension to stay with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Schroder finally addressed the elephant in the room with a self-deprecating Instagram post. "I'm gonna do this ONE time!" Schroder wrote in the caption of a picture of him with two of his expensive cars. "Insert your best "fumbled the bag" joke here."
Unlike Schroder, other players around the league aren't able to poke fun at themselves over a contractual misstep. For instance, Nerlens Noel doesn't seem to be sharing self-deprecating IG posts in the midst of his lawsuit against super-agent Rich Paul.
