News commentators and officials have spent the week calling out Nicki Minaj over her skepticism regarding the COVID-19 vaccine. While some have defended the rapper against the criticism, Nicki Minaj has had to fire back at the various news personalities, including Joy Reid, Piers Morgan, and Don Lemon.
Azealia Banks offered her thoughts on the topic early Friday morning and called Nicki Minaj's reasons for not being vaccinated "selfish" and "stupid." Banks also called out Nicki Minaj for publicly questioning the vaccine but not the butt injections she alleged to have had throughout her career.
"For as many Black women that have died or have had to have their legs amputated or body parts amputated because of black market butt injections, why do we not have Nicki Minaj questioning that?" Azealia Banks asked on her Instagram Story.
Earlier this week, Nicki Minaj tweeted that part of her reason for not being vaccinated was because her cousin's friend allegedly became impotent after receiving the vaccine. Not only did viewers tell the rapper that the symptoms she listed were more consistent with an STD, but the Trinidad & Tobago government dismissed her claims as well.
