In his first sit-down with VladTV, Hurricane Chris described growing up in a Louisiana neighborhood called Cedar Grove. He talked about his close relationship with his father and how he got into rap at the age of 10. After dropping out of high school to pursue his rap dream, he noticed instant progress and signed a deal at 16. Chris also described the creation of "A Bay Bay" and knowing he had a hit on his hands. Despite signing a major record deal and "A Bay Bay" becoming a hit, Hurricane Chris talked about being disappointed in his album's performance. He also talked about the success and issues surrounding his hit single, "Halle Berry (She's Fine)." He later described leaving his record label and encountering financial issues before he revealed his work as a ghostwriter.
