Update 09/24/2021 10:54am:

Previously, Jason Lee made an appearance on ‘The Breakfast Club’ and spoke in detail about allegations he made against Karen Civil, claiming the media specialist admitted to paying a hacker $20,000 to take down his Hollywood Unlocked page on social media. Along with that, Lee noted he’s considering pressing charges against Civil. Since then, Civil has responded to Lee’s claims on the show by calling into ‘The Breakfast Club.’

While speaking to the show, Civil said “It was my understanding that Jason and I resolved our issues a few years ago. We spoke about it, I thought we moved past it, we saw each other at an event, we spoke a little more there, remained cordial, we texted each other afterward, so all of this being rehashed in the public forum when to me we had private resolutions that existed for quite some time, now it's to a point where it's just a little strange to me.”

Karen Civil noted she doesn’t understand why Lee is going on with his claims and also said she isn’t worried about the potential lawsuit Lee speaks of, saying Lee admitted to doing something similar to someone else in the past. Civil then expressed that she regretted hopping into the Clubhouse room that caused Lee to begin airing out his issues with her. Listen above.

Recently, Cam’Ron called out Karen Civil for a situation with his cousin where she allegedly took $60,000—a claim that mirrors what Joyner Lucas described. While in a Clubhouse room, Hollywood Unlocked CEO Jason Lee revealed some information about Civil, which the marketing strategist seemingly admitted to.

Lee called an instance where he says Civil paid a hacker $20,000 and promised the hacker a chance to fulfill his rap dreams. Lee says Civil promised him the money along with an opportunity to become a successful rapper if he took down all of Lee’s social media accounts, including his personal ones. However, Lee says he got the information when Civil didn’t pay the hacker the backend. The hacker then gave all the information on what went down to Lee due to not receiving the rest of his money.

From there, Civil cleared up who was involved in the incident, and noted the kid was a hacker, and seemingly admitted that she reached out to the kid to get the job done. Take a listen above.
