Jordan Clarkson was the 2020-21 Sixth Man of the Year for the Utah Jazz, but apparently having NBA awards doesn't boost your local profile in Salt Lake City.
In a now-viral clip, Clarkson is interviewed by a local reporter in Utah and asked a series of questions that let viewers know she had no idea who she was talking to. Moreover, the reporter asked if he had attended any Jazz games last season. Jordan played along and told the reporter that he had, in fact, attended quite a few games.
Reporter Hayley Crombleholme took to Twitter after learning exactly who Clarkson was and poked fun at herself. "Had him spell his name and everything. I’m only mildly (okay, highly) embarrassed," she wrote after retweeting a clip of the interview.
