Update 09/27/2021 10:56am:

Previously, footage surfaced of artist Machine Gun Kelly making an appearance with his band at the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, Kentucky. In the footage, fans attending the festival can be heard booing the artist and flashing their middle finger at Kelly. Now, the rapper has clapped back at people assuming the entire crowd was booing him.

Via Twitter, Kelly retweeted a fan's video noting that not everyone in the crowd was against the artist. MGK responded by saying, “I don’t know why the media lies in their narrative against me all the time but all I saw was 20,000 amazing fans at the festival singing every word and 20 angry ones.” Take a look above.

Machine Gun Kelly was previously in the news after MMA fighter Conor McGregor tried to fight the artist while on the MTV VMA red carpet. Since then, MGK has been trying to transition into the world of rock music, with the artist landing a spot on the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, Kentucky. However, it seems the crowd wasn’t here for MGK’s music, as people in the crowd could be seen flipping off the rapper and booing him.

While the booing and taunting seem out of left field, MGK recently trashed rock group Slipknot, saying he was happy to not be a 50-year-old wearing a mask while playing music. Take a look at the footage above.
