The ‘Verzuz’ between The Lox and Dipset found many paying even more attention to the platform that rose during the pandemic, thanks to the epic performance from Jadakiss. Since then, Fat Joe and Ja Rule faced off against one another. Now, legendary hip hop figures Big Daddy Kane and KRS-One are reportedly set to be the next ‘Verzuz.’
Big Daddy Kane, one of a few influential forces who crafted the way rappers rhyme to this day, previously spoke on KRS one during a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, saying KRS is one of the top 3 from his era, with Rakim and himself rounding out the trio.
The face-off between Kane and KRS is set to take place on October 17 and will take place at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn. The caption on the post by Verzuz said, “BIG DADDY KANE vs. KRS-ONE!! I hope you’re ready!!! This one is for Hip-Hop!!! See you on the 17th.” Take a look above.
