Chicago artist Rooga came through for his first-ever VladTV interview, and he started out speaking about growing up in Chicago on the city's South Side. He explained that there was gang violence in the mid to late 90s when he was a kid, and Rooga went on to speak about meeting his cousin, FBG Duck, when he was around 4-years-old. Rooga explained that they were close when they got the opportunity to be around one another, and he went on to speak about being in jail when FBG Duck started rapping.
Rooga opened up about being away from his family for the first time after he was sentenced on firearm charges. Rooga explained that although he was only 17, he did a year in Chicago's adult prison. He then spoke about what he learned from being in prison, including knowing that he wasn't going back and how to move differently in the future. To hear more about the ordeal, hit the above clip.
